Associate Recruitment Support

How Do You Get an Associate to Stay?

PMM consultants can help you prepare for your recruitment of a new associate. Good preparation can make all the difference in getting a new doctor to select your practice, and stay with your practice.

PMM can:

-Prepare a financial income projection for Recruit including the Hospital incentives and Employer requirements to assist the recruiter and recruitment.
-Set productivity goals and a financial budget for the practice and institute tracking systems.
-Advise Employer on establishing an expense-sharing arrangement with Recruit during transition.
-Advise Employer on establishing appropriate financial and statistical reporting to Recruit.
-Advise on configuring office to be physically attractive to Recruits at recruitment visits.
-Advise Employer on preparing an agenda for Recruit interviews and visits.
-Advise Employer (with support of Employer's legal counsel) on engaging Recruit as an employee, contactor or associate.
-Prepare Physician Proficiency Requirements and Physician Performance Evaluation documents for use in the practice to evaluate Recruit's (non-clinical) performance and progress.
-Advise Employer on issues regarding transfer of administration duties in the practice.
-Provide a First-Year Marketing Plan for the practice to introduce Recruit to the community, maximize patient retention, and maximize new patient capture for the Recruit.
-Advise on updating the practice Employee Handbook.
-Advise on updating the practice computerization to accommodate Recruit.
-(Elective) Perform a Practice Survey to identify areas of operations needing change to accommodate the Recruit to maximize chances for successful retention. Advise and assist in the details of implementation of the recommendations for maximization of results, resulting in a new Operations Manual.
-Identify and advise on additional issues found during implementation.
-Appraise the Employer's practice for Recruit's eventual buy-in, and advise on sales/buy-in issues.

Consultation can be scheduled on an hourly or project basis, customized to your needs.

Note that PMM is not a recruiter and does not do the recruitment, just the recruitment support. PMM is a licensed practice broker, and can assist with practice appraisal and sales.
